This effort of opening art gallery from the board of Directors of Art Realm is significant towards sustaining art scene and the national heritage and culture. And that the fact that it was opened in the midst of economic and pandemic crisis is inspirational to us and others gallerists.

Amy Hashim is one of Malaysia's Oil painter who has been working out of Amy Hashim Art (AHA) and I understand it is through her experience and effort that they decided to open a platform that can benefit the art community to participate, collaborate, contribute and grow. We are truly delighted to have seen such continuity and courage of the 20 female artists persistency in our national art landscape. This quality is something that we would look into with much admiration.

l learnt that Amy Hashim is basically a self-taught artist who has done series of group and solo show including one show with The National Art Gallery. We are proud to see an artists who have the opportunity to exhibit with the National Art Gallery has accomplished something beyond her art and become an art gallerist. She also carefully produced a hand painted and printed on silk fabric to art lovers. This is the business model that she uses to create another gallery ARG that can benefit many more artists to join and exhibit.

While I know that Azmi has the experience in the treasury line for over 30 years and the father Tun Abdullah Salleh, was the one who built and open UKM under the leadership of Tun Razak. I would also like to highlight a very significant piece of history where Amy came from a long history of the art, when she was born in a house full of artists of her late father's relatives and friends in Kota Bharu in year 1971. We believe it is that root that brought her to where she is today by keeping the legacy and providing the similar benefits to the art communities.

Finally, I thank Art Realm Gallery, encourage and support arts during these challenging times and wish and pray that Amy, Azmi and the teams in Art Realm Gallery as well as SURI 20 artists continued success and prosperous in our cultural heritage.

I have had the pleasure of knowing and working with her for the last 7 years under the collaboration between intel and Ministry of Education Malaysia. I have seen her talent, organization and stakeholder management skills and have been impressed by he diligence and ethics especially when she is applying those skills in her work which came up to be some of the high impact projects in Malaysia

Dalam menyingkap pameran 'SURI 1.0' di Art Realm Gallery, penulis melihat bahawa pameran ini penting bagi mewujudkan kesinambungan kepada usaha pihak galeri dan kurator dalam merealisasikan hasrat mereka melonjak peranan dan makna "suri" yang diangkat. Ini kerana dengan memahami latar belakang artis-artis wanita ini maka akan lebih mudah untuk menyingkap pemikiran serta lontaran idea di sebalik segala tindakan mereka dalam menghasilkan karya terhadap nilai nilau yang mendasari pemikiran serta tindakan mereka. Persoalan, adakah wanita wanita ini akan lebih berjaya sekiranya mereka meninggalkan kehidupan keluarga? dan hanya fokus pada fantasi artis lainnya sebagai penyendiri dan menderita kreativiti. Namun, ramai di antara artis-artis wanita hebat ini menolak anggapan ilusi penyendiri kreatif dengan adanya dorongan kuat dari pasangan masing masing, malah dari rakan seperjuangan yang percaya bahawa dunia seni tidak pernah ada masa yang tepat, tetapi kekuatan driri meraka membuatnya berjaya. Itulah wanita "Suri" dunia.

Congratulations to you for the recent commencement of Art Realm Gallery. Congratulations too for its maiden exhibition Suri 1.0, of which I am truly honoured and thankful to be one of the chosen participants. With ARG, many artists will be happy too as they have another possible avenue to exhibit their hard works. And furthermore, such a centre would undoubtedly have positive effects in bolstering of our local visual arts industry. I earnestly hope it will become a jewel in the crown of Damansara Height in no time. Of course with all the attributes that you possess I'm certain that you will steer ARG to success and glory. It was great that ARG did its 1st opening by celebrating it with female artists in Malaysia. It certainly opened opportunities for artists, especially women like me to exhibit work during these challenging times. As a full-time mother artist, I am very proud to have participated in the exhibition. The exhibition was excellent. The gallery was spacious and bright. The founder Puan Amy and all the team were both professional and friendly. I deeply appreciate ARG's hard work and looking forward to our collaboration in the future. I highly recommend ARG for artists to have a show there.
